Black Friday 2016: Best Deals For British MotoristsCompact Cars, Bridgend
Black Friday deals for motorists
Though it began in the US, Black Friday has snowballed into a worldwide phenomenon. Traditionally falling on the day after Thanksgiving, it’s a day when retailers open at the crack of dawn, shut last thing at night, and offer huge deals and discounts for those brave enough to elbow the way through the crowds.
Thanksgiving this year is on November 24, so Black Friday 2016 will be on November 25. Whether you recognise Thanksgiving or not, it could be a fantastic way to grab some bargains in before Christmas. After all, once Black Friday hits, there’s only a month until Christmas!
For motorists, Black Friday can be a wonderful time to stock up on motoring goods.
Black Friday deals & discounts 2016
The only motoring retailer to mention Black Friday thus far has been Halfords. Though it’s not actually revealed any prices, it’s promising huge cuts across its range, including technology like sat-navs and dashcams.
Last year, Argos cut lots of prices for Black Friday. It was offering a Garmin sat-nav for less than half price. Expect to see lots more brilliant deals this year.
As always, Amazon and eBay are at the centre of everything. Both sites tend to offer 'flash sales' lasting just a couple of hours and operating on a when-it's-gone-it's-gone basis. It's absolutely worth keeping an eye on both sites, as you might find the motoring deal of the year just waiting on your front page.
